Looks like we will soon find out what a Will Smith and Kanye West collab sounds like.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

“After Earth,” his theaters June 7th.

I was in the building last night for Meek Mill’s, “Dreams And Nightmares,” listening session. Guests included Jay-Z, Will Smith, Rick Ross, Wale, Estelle, Victor Cruz and more. The intro entitled, “Dreams And Nightmares,” was one of my favorite tracks. Meek Mill starts of the album sounding aggressive and hungry as you would expect. “Maybach Curtains,” with Nas and John Legend wasn’t as epic as I wanted it to be, you know Nas has been killing guest features lately. The ladies might appreciate, “Lay Up,” with Ross, Wale and Trey Songz. I was a fan of the, Cardiak, produced, “Polo & Shell Tops. The audience also got hype for the bonus track with 2 Chainz which is meant to be a strip club anthem. There wasn’t a record like, “I’m A Boss,” to me. I would need to hear the album in private to really judge of course.

While walking the red carpet today in Moscow for that city’s premiere of “Men in Black 3,” Will Smith found himself on the wrong end of an aggressively amorous reporter’s lips.
The brief interaction took place at the start of Smith’s red carpet walk, when a Ukranian reporter asked Smith for a hug. Ever the accommodating movie star, Smith obliged: “Of course,” the actor said.

And then no doubt regretted it as said reporter tried to get a little too jiggy with Will. “Oh, there you go. Oh, hey man,” Smith said, pushing the reporter away when the hug turned into an attempted full-on kiss. “Come on, man. What the hell is your problem, buddy? Hey. Sorry, he tried to kiss me in my mouth. This joker’s lucky I didn’t sucker-punch him.”

The Philly in Will Smith came back real quick lol.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones link up once again for a third, “Men In Black,” movie.

Overbrook Entertainment partners James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have formed a joint venture with Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures. One of the projects being discussed is the re-imagination of the classic Broadway musical ANNIE as a vehicle for Willow Smith to star. The film will be developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment and produced by Overbrook Entertainment and Mr. Carter.

The partnership began over dinner with Jada, Will, James Lassiter and JAY-Z, where they decided to co-invest in the now successful beauty products line Carol’s Daughter. They continued this partnership as co-producers of the successful Broadway production Fela!, which earned a total of eleven Tony Award nominations in 2010.

“The time is right to bring back ANNIE to the big screen. Of course, we’re true believers in Willow’s talent and believe she will be perfect in this role,” said Columbia Pictures President Doug Belgrad. “Combining Willow with the Overbrook team that reimagined Karate Kid and the spectacular JAY-Z makes this a dream project. A decade ago, JAY-Z proved that the power of the underlying Broadway property remains, by showing how these songs could be reinterpreted for a new generation with Hard-Knock Life. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with our friends at Overbrook as they launch this new venture.”
