Missy Elliott makes her official return to the scene with her new single, “9th Inning,” featuring Timbaland. Missy back?
Timbaland brung Missy out in Miami to perform a few classics. Missy also debuts two new songs “Triple Threat” and “9th Inning” which will be released this week.
“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate,” Mona Scott-Young, longtime manager for Missy Elliott, said in a statement sent to XXLMag.com. “We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

I think it is a bad idea to have a posthumous with out at least Timbaland involved. I wasn’t to big on, “Enough Said,” featuring Drake.
