“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate,” Mona Scott-Young, longtime manager for Missy Elliott, said in a statement sent to XXLMag.com. “We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

I think it is a bad idea to have a posthumous with out at least Timbaland involved. I wasn’t to big on, “Enough Said,” featuring Drake.

Timbaland and Missy Elliott performed a new track last night in NYC.

During Timbaland’s set at, “AllHipHop’s Breeding Ground SXSW Showcase,” he played some new music for the audience, including this track with Missy Elliott. Expect there two to drop solo albums later this year.
