The First Day Of Drake’s 4th Annual OVO Fest Has Been Cancelled Due To Frank Ocean’s Injury

Live Nation regrets to announce that as a result of Frank Ocean’s recent vocal injury, the first night (August 4th) of the sold-out OVO Fest at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto has been cancelled. Tickets for the August 4th date will be refunded (details below). The August 5th OVO Fest concert date will go on as scheduled, with Drake headlining. Artist James Blake has been added to the sold-out August 5th show.

Fans who purchased single day tickets for August 4th will be refunded in full at the point of purchase. Fans who purchased two-day passes will automatically be refunded for the August 4th show at the point of purchase.

Frank Ocean Suffers A Vocal Cord Tear & Is Forced To Cancel His Australian Mini Tour

Live Nation and Niche Productions regret to announce that Frank Ocean’s remaining Australian dates will not go ahead due to illness. After last night’s concert in Melbourne at Festival Hall, it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show. It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal chords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice. This makes the completion of his remaining Australian dates impossible.

Frank Ocean suffered a tear is his vocal cord while touring in Australia. He had to cancel his remaining dates to heal and there is no word if he will be able to perform for OVO Fest next weekend.
