Is Allen Iverson not playing in the NBA a matter of his attitude or him not being the player he use to be?

Allen Iverson(notes) has agreed in principle to sign an incentive-laden, two-year, $4 million contract with Besiktas of the Turkish professional league, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday night. Iverson plans to sign the contract this week, the sources said, and is expected to report to Besiktas the week of Oct. 31.

At age 35 Iverson is no longer able to get a spot on an NBA roster, that’s crazy. I think he would be a good addition to a bench like the Heat.
