New Ludacris Interview

untitled

Would you ever leave rap alone altogether to focus on your other ventures?

Ludacris: No—I’m taking part in a lot of other things; I still love music as number one. Rap is what got me here. My passion is 100 percent still in it. I’m very blessed to be involved in many other things and diversifying businesses and real estate and acting. But do not get it twisted, rap music is what I love to do and I will continue doing it, especially with the lack of good music. I can have something to do with putting more good music back on the streets.

Luda states that there is a lack of good music in rap. His new album, “Theater of the Mind,” feature Lil Wayne and The Game and is set to drop this year. He also states that sales are down because consumers are getting smarter and they still will buy solid albums.

D.C. Police Set Up Check Points To Curb Violence

Police in neon yellow vests stopped motorists traveling through the main thoroughfare of Trinidad — a neighborhood near the National Arboretum in the city’s northeast section. Police checked drivers’ identification and turned away those who didn’t have a “legitimate purpose” in the area, such as a church visit or doctor’s appointment.

The checkpoints were announced after eight people were killed in the city last weekend. Most of the killings occurred in the police district that includes Trinidad. Already this year, the district has had 22 killings — one more than in all of last year.

Full Story: ABC

People are of course complaining that this is going against their constitutional rights. I can see how these checkpoints can be a huge inconvenience, but with 8 people being killed in the last weekend it is time for desperate measures. If I live in a neighborhood where people are getting killed left and right I welcome cops harassing people.

50 Cent Removes Tattoos For Movie Roles

50

“When you see him you’ll know,” said Yayo. “I tell you one thing, I heard that sh*t hurts more than getting a tattoo so I won’t be removing none of mine. But 50 started taking some of them off. If you look at his arms now you’re going to see it.”

“I’ll just put makeup over mine.”

I think a lot of rappers and people in general  got tattoos that they will end up regretting, especially when it is on their face. Can you imagine Lil Wayne at 60 years old with those tattoos.
