The Detroit-bound car is said to make 500 horsepower and 737 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque while boasting fuel economy of over 23 US mpg (10 liters per 100 km). Zero-to-sixty reportedly takes 4.2 seconds and the car should have a top end of 300 km/h, or around 186 mph. Want one? According to Auto Tuning News, a production version is likely in mid-2009.

T-Mobile is releasing to new versions of the very popular, “Sidekick,” series, the Sidekick LX(retail $299) and the Sidekick Slide(retail $199). The new Sidekick LX is set to release October 17th for existing customers(24th publicly). The Sidekick LX  boasts a larger screen, mood lights, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, bluetooth capability and a special myspace application. The Sidekick Slide comes out later this month.

Never seen the hype behind sidekicks and I’m not too impressed with the features. But I’m sure high school kids are in a frenzy over the new Sidekick.

Apple has dropped the price of the iPhone from $599 to $399(People that bought one in the last 14 days get a refund). They have also released a new iPod named the, “iPod Touch.” It plays the usual music, videos & photos and is the first iPod capable of going online. The iPod Touch comes in two models, one $300 for 8 GB & the other  $400 for 16 GB. They look hot but they come at a price. Pay off your tuition and buy your school books before purchasing.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Apple Inc. plans to launch a cheaper version of the iPhone in the fourth quarter that could be based on the ultra-slim iPod Nano music player, according to a JP Morgan report.

Chang said a way to follow up the iPhone with a cheaper version would be to convert the Nano into a phone and price it at $300 or lower. The iPhone sells for $500 and $600, depending on storage space.
