Young Jeezy claims his second chart-topper on the Billboard 200 as “The Recession” starts at No. 1 this week. The Def Jam set moved 260,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, 92,000 short of the 352,000-unit start for his previous No. 1, 2006’s “The Inspiration.”

No one’s first week sales are topping the sales of their previous album(except Lil Wayne), which shows times have changed. Anything over 200k is a big success in today’s time.

Performers included Keri Hilson, Mario, Tyga, Fabolous & Ryan Leslie with appearances by Danity Kane, Christina Milian, Plan N Skillz, Young Jeezy & more. Video of the performances in of course on the way.
