Jimmy Kimmel has come a long way from stand-up comedy, KROQ rock radio station, The Man’s Show, to host his own show on television. Jimmy Kimmel Live has been on ABC Ch. 7 for a few years now and he also hosted the 200 ESPY Awards along with LeBron James. Over the years, Jimmy Kimmel has had guests from every genre of music. I have personally watched Jay-Z, Nas, 50-Cent, Obie Trice, and Ne-Yo with Fabolous. The show provides free shows that include songs but only a couple make the actual television show. The fans love the opportunity of watching their favorite artists up close and personal for free. On July 24th, many female fans and surprisingly many male fans came out to watch Ne-Yo performed all his hits including: So sick, Do you, Love song, Sexy girl and others. He then brought out Fabolous to perform “Make Me Better” and closed the show with a shout out to “Compound Records.”

Ne-Yo had the females singing and shouting all night. He performed along with three background dancers who really knew how to dance and didnt look bad either. He covered almost every song from “In my own words” and “Because of you”. He actually sounds really good in person, just like the albums. The concert was very energetic. I tried to capture the energy and the performance but the clips are short and sometimes, the view is blocked by a large chunk of arm. The show ended with a bonus for his fans. For fans willing to dish out $20, they could meet him backstage for an autograph and a picture.
