Mr. Nasir Jones talked to MTV and had this to say:

“First we wanted to get it out to people and just enjoy it,” he explained. “Now we’re thinking about going in on a TV show to find out where them n—as was at. I wanna see. These muthaf—-s ain’t old to me. And if they are old, that’s nothing to take away from them. Man, these muthaf—s are interesting people. They’re part of the whole foundation. They are the blocks, them big boulders underneath the pretty surfaces. They need to be looked at like that. Even if it’s for a second, let’s be real, you can’t expect all these n—as to drop new albums, but it’s good to see that they still here. They ain’t gotta come out and go platinum, they can do different sh–. It’s just good to show love.”

He also says he is going on a tour called, ‘Nas: One Man, One Mic, One Night.”

The, “Where Are They Now,” remixes was cool but I don’t want to see music videos for them. A TV show has a chance, but I don’t know how the ratings would be, the youth today have no sense of history.

Thoughts on the idea and actually song?

Concert was taped for MTV in Times Square at the Hard Rock Cafe. L.A. Reid was in the building as well as Chrisette Michele to help Nas perform Can’t Forget About You. Let me say NY was FREEZING, got there early and I was turning into ice, then people came and said we can watch the concert going on before Nas, Gym Class Heroes, and still be in front of the line for the Nas concert. I definitely got lucky, because outside was brick and I had mad time left to do nothing. Gym Class Heroes was ok, I like that song Cupid that they got and what the hell it was free.
