Jim Jones Talks About Camron, Kanye, NY Rap, Etc…

In regards to comments about Kanye West:

Jim Jones: Kanye is somebody you can just punch his chest old-school style, cave his chest in and shit like that. Like don’t ever, ever, ever talk about me again in your life! It’s just a joke to me. I’m just having fun. I heard him ranting and raving about my name and shit. How would I look having an issue with Kanye? I’d love to work with him. I need a beat from him. I think that’s why I’m most mad. Matter fact, I’ma fuck you up if you don’t give me a beat! [Laughs.]

In regards to Camron disaproal of his performance with 50 Cent (Video Of Performance):

Jim Jones:He’s questioning my loyalty? He was questioning himself. At that point in time when I did [appear onstage with 50], I was doing all business. I was doing what was best for Jimmy, what was best for my career. It was in my best interest to do publicity stunts and get hype. He was nowhere to be found, so who is he to be questioning what I was doing? He couldn’t do that from the get-go because I helped start all this. What went on between him and 50 was a mockery—that was niggas making jokes.

Jim Jones & Damon Dash Speak On New Album, Dipset & Jim’s Play

Jim Jones Talks About His Play

Could you see that Dipset was falling apart, that Cam’ron wasn’t going to maintain his place in the industry?
Jones: I just know there were a lot of things going on. You find out who really wants to be around one another once money comes into play. See, for a minute, it was one-sided. He was the breadwinner, obviously. For the most part, I was just trying to stay above water, because I wasn’t in the streets hustling anymore. I finally figured out what I needed to do to get enough money to control my own destiny in the industry. [But] we were like brothers. That was a hard blow. They see [Cam] in Harlem all the time and stuff like that. I don’t think he’s hiding underneath a cave or anything like that. But the communication between us doesn’t exist.

Jim isn’t really considered a lyrically gifted M.C. How are you gonna change that?
Dash: If you come down and listen to his album [Pray IV Reign], and I’m not sure if I’m too close to the music or the project, but shit sounds like a classic. I’m a make a bold statement and put it in the same league as Reasonable Doubt and The Chronic.

Stop The Madness: Popping Champagne On Men Ain’t Poppin

Props Niketalk on the gif

So I peeped the two trailers for the, “Pop Champagne,” video and thought it would be decent. I mean its a pretty easy video to make, just have some liquor and females dancing in a club. Then video drops and its pretty much horrible. The Green screen effects looked horrible and I didn’t see enough assets. To top it off, instead of poppin champagne on some females, Dipset decided to pour each other with liquor. This is only acceptable if you just won a championship, not for a rap video. The gif speaks for itself, STOP THE MADNESS!
