Jay-Z will be releasing a new limited edition ladies brand called, “Bella Roc.” According to Sojones.com:

The brand will include crystals and metallic gold stitching on jeans, and will eventually add on a full line of women’s sportswear and outerwear.
The Bella Roc brand’s launch comes briefly after Rocawear’s custom fit men’s collection, which launched during 2006’s New York Fashion Week. Jay-Z’s Rocawear brand, which has been under scrutiny lately, still has never seen such demand for pricier products.

Seems like the new fashion trend is crystals and skulls. I hope broke ladies don’t spend there last dollars trying to look fly, at least make your boyfriend pay for it. (Picture is not from the new line)

I think this is BS, but TMZ is going at Jay-Z because the Nets took 400 million from Barclays Bank for the naming rights to the new basketball stadium for the Nets. The controversy is over Barclays Bank profiting off slavery in the past. Jay-Z is not a major owner of the team, TMZ reports only less then one percent, so why we you look at him to boycott or try to change the mines of everyone else. There must be plenty of businesses that profited off of slavery, but I don’t see everybody going around boycotting them. I’m open to hear opinions, also check out the comments they left on TMZ, tisk tisk.

Never understood how people can go so crazy for people they never met.

Jay-Z will now be working with Coca Cola to remix the Cherry Coke brand. Jay-Z is everywhere, working with the NBA, Anheuser-Busch, Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, appearing on Monday Night Football and soon to appear in an ad for the Super Bowl. The man was not lying when he said, “I’ll Show you how to do this son.” While Jay-Z has had great success, still critics say he doesn’t do a good job of promoting his artist on Def Jam and he may be overexposed. I can’t agree with him being overexposed, the more the better, but maybe he should put more effort into some of his artist over at Def Jam.
