Audio: Cassidy Speaks On The Fat Joe vs. Papoose Incident
Cassidy With Miss Jones via Hot 97
WJLB: Now we had 50 Cent in the studio and he basically said anyone in Ja Rule’s camp is basically done, finished.
Fat Joe: Well you know he can say that about them and they are great people. I love them and I wish they could make a comeback but Fat Joe is a whole different guy with a whole different caliber. Since I argued with them, I dropped “Get It Poppin’” which had 38 thousand spins. Then I dropped “Make It Rain” which was number 3 in the country. Then we dropped “Taking Over”, then we dropped “I’m So Hood” which went up to Top 5. Then we dropped “I won’t Tell” which is Number 9 in America. Right now, why he’s telling everyone he’s destroying me. 50 Cent need to worry about him barely selling 1 million records this time, which means he sold 9 Million less than he did the last album. If he didn’t do that Kanye West thing, he probably wouldn’t have sold a half a million records at all. So your man needs to worry about Olivia. He needs to worry about Spider Loc, He needs to worry about Tony Yayo. He needs to worry about Lloyd Banks. He needs to worry about Young Buck that’s not even down with him no more. He needs to worry about G Unit Clothing which isn’t even here anymore. You know, this guy has a lot of issues with himself.
Latest chatter about the recent incident, why the hell is 50 being with Fat Joe when his album is about to drop, is he trying to help him?

Now You Got The Juice: The People Power of The Hip-Hop Head
Hip Hop heads are some of the smartest, most varied people you’ll ever meet. You got the 80’s old-school cats who cling to KRS-One, Rakim, or Public Enemy as the greatest MC’s of all time (period), and keep the Five Percenters tradition alive. You get the Phillies and Backwood smoking, Hennessy & Baileys drinking, D.I.T.C, Canibus, Purple Tape (a.k.a Raekwon’s 1st album for those not up on history) lovers from early to mid-1990’s. There’s the people like myself who came up on Vanilla Dutches being the number one choice, Cassidy killing Freeway, G-Unit mixtapes had the biggest buzz on the streets, DMX and Eminem being the most marketed rappers on the planet (damn, can you remember a time when DMX was Def Jam’s biggest star), and Ruff Ryders and Dipset being the crews holding down “the streets.” And finally you got the new Hip-Hop heads; a mix between cats who love Jim Jones & Dipset for they “swagger,” the Lil Wayne obsessed, the True Religion jean wearers, and new “backpackers” (the Lupe, Little Brother, Saigon, Brother Ali faithful) always ready to say “the real hip-hop is right here.”
