Rick Ross and Young Jeezy ended their war to release, “War Ready.”

disgusting song…’ war ready’ propagates the act of self destruction black males killing black males..the imagery of young black men shooting at a fictitious enemy that looks just like them serves the interest of the industrial prison complex….
rick ross and young jeezy are powerless compared to the police force or army so any violence they inflict on anyone will only lead to more suffering for us the black community and our women and children….what makes it all the more poignant is the fact ricky used to be a corrections officer…before he locked up niggas now his music gets niggas locked up!
STILL WORKING FOR THE MAN!
truth be told .
lmao. trash. whats with these fags rapping like that guy doing the chorus.. sound wack. autistic even.
Try not to forget, these guys are “artist”, and have a right to express their feelings and emotion musically! The song is called “War ready”, did you think or expected the lyrics in the song would be about coming together and holding hands, or about peace?
The guy was a C.O., big deal, get off of that already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sad to see that their is so much ignorance..’ these guys are artist’…tragically its a case of art shaping life rather than the contrary! this is not a song this is an advertisement for the total death and destruction of the young black male at the hands of other young black males…
sadly the only people they are WAR READY for is those who share the same color and culture as themselves, so in affect they are killing themselves i.e Suicide they do not address the real enemies of our people, they do not address the poverty..the inequality..the injustice we suffer..in fact what they are rapping about is genocide not war..….they are both ignorant and powerless black male symbols who are trying to rescue a sense of manhood by exerting physical strength over a economically and mentally dead people.
again this is only a song on the surface turn the music off and watch the video….for here lies its true message!
you are stating that they are powerless, so then how can they/are suppose to change society?????
Ross as an artist “spits” about a drug dealing/dope boy life style, which entails a lot of negativity. There are many artist that promote positivity. In life a certain amount of balance is required. Not saying Ross is right or wrong, I guess he’s just speaking on the life/life style he knows. He’s not telling anyone to do these things and if he said don’t do said things do you think it would erase all the wrong in society?
