Nas doesn’t deserve to be top 5. in what part of the world does Nas have more buzz then Drake or Kanye?

I am pleasantly surprised but considering he had 5 videos for his album i guess i shouldnt be. Top 3, Kendrick Wayne n 2 Chainz? or is Nicki in there somewhere?
as far as this goes, i know drake dint put out an album, but fact remains he won the grammy over Nas and remained hotter than Nas on the blogs and on every other level. Not saying he is better than Nas. I just think they should specify the criteria of selection and follow the criteria.
another example is meek had an album drake did not so the argument about album really does hold not any water. My conclusion is that this list is not credible even to its own standards.

Did Nas have a great album? Yes. Did he have a great/complete year? debatable.

jay z be lucky if he could even get through a full set catalog performance he sound like he about to have a heart attack when he on stage sit down. jay is getting to old for this and its showing all over his face and lungs! he need to focus on the roc nation roster cause he put them there now rep them artist not himself.smh! and drake can rap and he get a lot of radio play but lyrically he can’t fux wit nas kanye hasn’t spit nothing hard this year watch the throne with an exception of maybe to or three versus was whack! his verse on diamonds was sick but listen close pusha T helped him write that. This is not based on my personal prefernces (well, except for Kendrick) but the top three should be 3. Rick Ross, 2. 2 Chainz & 1. Kendrick Lamar. I thought they might put Wayne on here, but he’s had a pretty quiet year. Even his biggest critics can’t deny that 2 Chainz should be on this list. I don’t see how he ranked higher than Drake, but whatever. And Kendrick should get #1 just based on having the BEST project released during the year

They robbed Nas out of a grammy once again.
This reminds me of the year when Eminem got snubbed (not a huge Eminem fan) but when Eminem got snubbed from the list two years ago they cited their criteria as the main factor for not listing him. Nas had a great album but definetly not a great year buzz wise. Theyre covering their bases trying to avoid another Eminem catastrophe.
It’s a god damn shame that nas is even on this list! If your going to have a list you need to stick to the criteria n what is the criteria for 1 artist needs to be the same for everyone. Nas didn’t earn his spot he was put on out of pity, he didn’t have 1 single chart on us billboard us 100 1 single from the whole album charted on us rap and that was a high 78. He also didnt have one ft that charted. he didn’t perform at any award show the tour wasn’t a big deal. He performed at summer jam did 4 songs mostly old material didnt move the crowd “dont believe me go back and watch the footage” then brought Lauren out then left 20 min slot at best. We need to be fair hot is hot and he ain’t that this dude gets way to much credit for his mediocre efforts. I’m not saying he didn’t put out a album that many people like but there’s 10 more deserving artist who are putting in work and need to be acknowledged for it. You wouldn’t like being at work busting your ass n another employees doing just enough and getting paid the same or more than you. Hip hop is the same way!
