The thing about these lists is it causes a lot controversy.Either certain rappers are ranked too high or too low and some shouldn’t be on the list.A lot of folks get mad over it LOL. Nevermind MTV make your own list and respect the fact that your list won’t look like the next person’s .

This list is trash. You have Future on the list but not Pusha T? Also, when dude said Future was his #1 I almost passed out. Kendrick Lamar, Drake and ASAP should be on the list. I believe after the first list, we were aware that they only use the term MC for namesake; they don’t distinguish the 2…Future is a rapper…that is factual…Him being at #9 is actually far too low, because in one year he went from being underground/mixtape popular, has Drake hop on his song, then lands on Rihanna’s album…You can’t deny that stretch.

To me I have always gotten that feeling or whoever has “donated” the most to mtv and is hooked up with alot of business with the channel. If you think that way then your not surprised that Pusha T didnt make the list. Though it doesnt make sense that french is not on the list because that dude is popular as hell but cant rap at all so he should be on mtv’s crappy “top 10 mc” list.
