Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, head of his estate and founder of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, said in a statement, “I believe it is our responsibility to make sure that Tupac’s entire body of work is made available for his fans. My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty.”

I have no problem with new Tupac Shakur music being released as long as it is high quality tracks and not just throwaways.

na release all of it. the good the bad the ugly everything. get it over with instead of releasing a 10 song ep every year or something.
personally i feel 2pac was not the greatest rapper out. i feel he is a great overall man, speaker, activist, actor, poet, etc. but rapper he was good, not great. i think big was the greatest rapper. to say pac was the greatest rapper is almost diminishing his legacy he was more than rap.
big 4ever
i understsand where you coming from in terms of lyrical wordplay and flow, but i can also say how can you call B.I.G the greatest rapper with only two albums(albums that count)ill give that title too jayz or nas cuz they have a career of albums.and still hot now.as i got older in my 30′s i cant listen to most rappers cuz i grown out of that hood nigga club, clothes, durgs, fuck bitches phase, think about it?can you really listen to a lil wayne song at 40 and up ?but 2pac has music i can listen to til im old cuz his rhymes have depth and substance.nobody in todays rap can do a hold ya head record, brenda got a baby record,a unborn child record, plus with all those songs he has compare them with today music makes me realize i took 2pac for granted.this is coming from a fan of hip hop not a banwagon 2pac groupie.
Tupac is overrated
PREACH MY NIGGA…. very over rated
Biggie smalls all day
DIPSET
Tupac greatest raper of all time the 2 people above me are truly dumb ass bitches
Simple as niggas. Compared to the body of work that pac has, biggie never even clocked in. I love em both.
thats crazy how tupac is still releasing music after his death , thats a legend rite there
Yea the only comparisons can be jay eminem and 50… 50 survived some hot times… Hov as transitioned unlike any artist as well as stayed consistent.. And em is a lyrical genius so I couldn’t put anyone but these 3 over PAC.
This dude must have slept in the studio cause he got tracks on tracks on tracks!!!
2pac is the michael jordan of rap there will never b another.fuck yall bitch niggas
Stop mentioning Big when u see Tupac’s name. If it wasn’t for pac, BIG wouldv’e just been another fat rapper that died e.g Big Pun. Biggie wouldve never been the Legend he is today if it wasnt for Pac. i hate when people automatically bring up biggie when they hear Tupac’s name. Just cause they had beef doesn’t mean they were on the same level, Pac could rap circles around big on any given day. I honestly think pac had the better lyrics, style, content flow, u name it and Pac would do it better.
when they mention flow they always say big was better but how in ur right mind can u say that? listen to starin through my rear view, can’t see me, hell razor, 2 of amerikaz most wanted, ambitionz as a ridah so much pain, ghetto star..u take all these songs for granted cause uve heard em so many times but the truth is this man’s flow was untouchable and too technically advanced to even try to duplicate. Pac was just better at everything. there’s not one thing Big was better at …not one
Even freestyles…ppl got brainwashed to think that big was a better freestyler but pick out one freestyle that uve heard from big that wasnt song…this man basically rapped his rehearsed verses and called it freestyles, Pac on the other hand actually spit off the top 99% of the time. They weren’t 100% perfect but they were real freestyles and the best freestyles ive heard from any rapper…again Tupac wins..any way u look at it , the man was just untouchable and one of kind..leave him alone, don’t fuck with his throne let him rest in peace
na my nigga i aint brainwashed or none of that u talking bout. u can write an essay as long as my arm it wont change my mind. i thought this thru for lots of years and came to my conclusion. i’ve rocked wit pac since “brenda’s got a baby”, which i personally feel is his greatest song ever, and most underrated song ever. but that song is pac legacy, the social commentary, the message in his music. not his lyrical ability, his lyrical ability could never fuck wit big.
big was big b4 pac decided to use him for publicity. idk where u from but out here in nyc, big had the rap world by the balls, no beef neccesary. thats why i respect rappers that dont need beef to be legends. big didnt need the beef, the beef didnt help his music or career. it was his pure talent and lyrical ability that made him the king of ny.
my comment is not disrespecting pac, like i said pac was more than rap, his legend is about more than rap.
in a few weeks on march 9th u will see how much big means to everybody. nobody dont even rep the day pac died. atleast not round here they dont what was it sep.13 or something. everybody know march 9th, everybody
Na fuck that release it all. I could really use the great lyrics cause the shit now is fucked up. RIP 2pac
lol @ Iknowmusic and JR WRITER lmao how old are you guys? 12? Tupac is NOT overrated if you think about the rappers out today and what they stand for and what they bring to the table its straight trash, its about their profit and how they fucking bitches or riding the cleanest whip, do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it and County Of Kings if you’re from NYC who the fuck is gonna praise tupacs death there? he dissed mobb deep, biggie and jay all NYC artists. Pac’s body of work shits on a lot of artists he has timeless classics and so does big but tupac has more than 2 cd’s of classics thats the thing and just like you said at the beginning he is a great speaker, activist, poet and overall man like he was just a symbol for standing up for what you believe in and just being yourself it was so much deeper than rap, personally even when shit hit the fan pac dropped the better diss too. I’m old enough to appreciate biggie and pac im not foolish to not appreciate a good artists at his craft but i just feel like pac came on top.
