I’m not gonna say what he’s speaking isn’t true, because I don’t know. For him to be THIS upset its probly some realness to it. But honestly he comes off as being bitter that the people he wrote for made it further careerwise than him. Therein lies the whole issue with being a ghost writer. You’re supposed to know going in that the reason you’re writing for other people is 9 times out of 10, you aren’t that marketable as a solo artist, be it looks, personality, or whatever reason. You have to accept that going in and just keep stacking that bread even if other people are coming up off of your work. That’s just the reality of it. I would’ve just stuck around with Ye and used writing for him as a door to doing it for other artists. The money is still green regardless of what side it’s on at the end of the day…

The purpose of “ghost writer” is to be behind the scenes and not reveal yourself, thats how you stay working in the industry. If you air out your grievances with the artist you wrote for then tell the world they’re spitting your lines, who the hell would want to hire you?
