Sad to see that after all these years 50 Cent has not evolved lyrically and is still spreading negativity in his music.Why not talk about the consequences of moving bricks?Fact of the matter is he’s not moving bricks in real life yet he’s glorifying it.This is one of the reasons the black youth is so lost and think that moving bricks and picking up guns is cool cuz their favorite rapper is saying it is.50 Cent does not live that life therefore he should be more consciously responsible with the message he’s putting out especially in this day and age.
It’s okay for you to feel that way but acknowledge the fact that 50 is the only rap artist to do what he is doing for black people. From feeding the hungry in Africa, opening parks in the hood, donating money to charities, and employment opportunities. While he may not live that life any longer it’s well known that he did actually live that life so I think he has the right to talk about it. It’s something he went through and risked his life doing. If you’re going to talk about 50 then you need to address all these other rappers who ain’t doing shit for black people besides throwing some crumbs and is rapping about stuff they never lived like Officer Rick.
