Boy I agree with what you said, apart from the Boss Part. I have listened to Weezy since he was Cash Money in the 90′s for someone to come all the way from then to now. Its truly epic, and I am glad I got to see it. You may not like his music, but I love it and think its great.

I think Drake makes great music but he is in the position of JaRule right now. In the sense that one wrong move and he’s gonna fall off that pedestal. If he left YMCMB at this point, I think that would set the dominoes in motion… but if he plays he position, he could be mentioned in the same breathe as Jay-Z, Will Smith, Em, Dre, 50, and Diddy <– All ppl that came in, made the right moves, made a killin', and left as legends (in there own right).

I agree with both RTLA & MOONSEYEPLAN…every one can say what they want about Drake but everyone is checking for him whenever he drops new music. Everytime Drake comes out he changes the game with his sound and versatility. If it means anything he was the best feature rapper last yr. There wasn’t one track Drake didn’t kill and none of the records he was on are his typical type of records. He even had a better verse then Kendrick on his own track/album. Wayne & Nicki need to take notes and step there games up!!!11

I had to post here and laugh about the cats that’s trying to define what being “Hood” is and what “struggling” is. Cut it out, y’all. We all come from different walks of life. Dictionary definition of struggling is all that matters, regardless of financial status… hell, Drake could have been financially fortunate, before becoming a rap artist (which, speaking from experience with Jews, he more than likely was), but that doesn’t mean that this song is about financially struggling. It could be discussing his move from the bottom of the acting game to the top of the rap game. It could be discussing his move from being a lame corny ass lil’ boy with no friends to being a lame corny ass grown man with money-bought friends. It could be about a lot of things, so don’t judge, until you hear it, like some of the cats above said.
Personally… I don’t like Drake. But, I cannot deny that he has moved into the rap game and made a significant name for himself. Like it or not, like one of my mans said above, people check for him when he drops something. So, hating on him is irrelevant. I don’t have to like him, I don’t have to listen to his music, but hating is something that people do when they are in denial of a truthful situation: The dude is doing his thing, period.
