Sources close to T.I. tell TMZ … T.I.’s 10-year contract with Atlantic ran up only a month ago … but he’s already put together his own idea of a $75 million deal:
- 3 albums
- 10-20 percent of publishing, touring, merchandise, film and TV rights
- Corporate endorsement deals

but he selling a 360 deal.. think about it, for 75 mil u get 20percent of everything he makes.. movies, TV, Tours, AKOO and whatever else.. think about it

Not sure which label will give him that deal but he’s asking for a lot. While T.I is an established hip hop artist, his last GOOD album came in 2008. His artists on the other hand are lukewarm at best and T.I.P today is comparable to Dwayne Wade. Sensational career but a step slower in 2013.
if baby could get 30 million in 1998 with no real hit records then i dont see why T.i cant get 75 million in 2013 with shit loads of hits songs and platinum selling albums

I hope he gets it but I don’t think the labels are putting that type of money in just anybody. But maybe TI knows something we don’t know why he can ask for type of money.
He’s not worth it. Labels will look at him as a liability who may be past his prime.

his “trouble man” album is a great album. i wont call it a classic but i think its great body of work and i didnt expect it. i thought he fell off. now wit the fact that he is the one trying to unify atl to get back into the driver seat in hiphop, a label might see his business plan and go forward with it. he worked hard to get jeezy, 2chainz, luda and future all in the fold, and if gucci wanna come and build wit’em, atlanta could be poppin again.
lets be clear, gunit deal was based off of the beef 50 was setting up for future albums. thats why i knew for a fact that the progression would go from jada and joe, to kanye, to jay and diddy. and lastly will be iovine and dre, (maybe not em).
same way jim jones got a deal based off his non stop attacks on jayz. labels thought it would translate to dollars, but since he could never get jay to respond, it backfired.
