As forecasted a week ago, rapper A$AP Rocky bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his debut album “Long.Live.A$AP,” selling 139,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

its below , but the album did leak well over a month ago. same thing happen to 50s last album
more then i expected. Meek only did 170 and Tip only did 190. he definitely does have the fanbase of those 2 guys.

Impressive considering he leaked a month early. Thought the album was solid with the exceptions of “Wild for the night” and “Fashion Killa”

Honestly, its impressive. It shows that his fans are loyal. It got leaked like a month before it was suppose to release.. And still bows to No. 1 on the Billboard.
* Meek Mill & T.I. albums sold only 170 & 190 copies, there fanbase is bigger than A$AP Rocky also they been in the game longer than A$AP Rocky as well.
Its below what I expected, considering he’s executed a style in his songs that rappers in NY have been trying to execute for a while.

every album leaks two weeks before it hits the stores so how would the leak affect the sales? just because it was 4 weeks? oh, please!
i believe nowadays with the leaks two things happen:
- the sales can be boosted if the album is good (example: kendrick lamar).
- the sales aren’t that good if the album is average/sucks and there’s.
about the album: calling it “solid” says it all. “solid” albums are those you don’t listen to anymore after a short time.
i think the album is disappointing.
That’s pretty damn good for an album I’ve had for like a month already. I wasn’t expecting many people to buy it at all, despite the fact that its actually a really good album.
The album is just o.k., not solid, not horrible. The sales aren’t impressive but they were expected. Tip’s music carrer is on the downward slope due to all his legal issues & Meek is similar to Rocky, all style but Lyrically Weak. I’ve listened to the album about 5 times fully & I’m bored with it already. Unlike Kendrick’s or The Black Opera, or even Wiz Khalifa’s. Fashion Killer is whack, Wild For the Night was a change in pace (I dig the attempt). The album is “ok” because of the lack of lyrical ability.

Yall trippin, wild for the night was def the best song on the album even tho I like the whole album. Yall must be fags who only like slow boring music, that track hard. And his album was better than t.i. And way better than Meeks so it should’ve did better. Between a1, angel and wild for the night idk what song I like most
And I surprisingly like it more than Kendrick album, still think Kendrick better but wasn’t as consistent wit good songs as asap. Even Rocky don’t got a song as good as backseat freestyle or mad city

1 Train was definitely the hottest track on that entire album in my opinion.
About what I expected no problem wit ASAP he a little over board wit the weird shit dresses ect.. but He’s creative I aint mad at him.

What I like about the album is the variety in sound it brings you, not every song sounds the same like most rappers(MEEK MILL)I feel like Kendrick and ASAP and a few others like schoolboy Q have a unique flow and can flow to different beats accordingly.I love the album One of my faviorte songs is suddenly and longliveasap, i think it was a very good album! S/o to ASAP Rocky and his Mob I’ve been fucking wit him since liveloveasap and its good to see him get love for good music
