T.I. speaks on his upcoming release stating, “The album, ‘Trouble Man,’ idea was to balance a vintage T.I. sound like from, ‘I’m Serious,’ & ‘Trap Muzik,’ & naturally, cohesively mix it with the more mainstream up to date sound like, ‘Paper Trail.’” T.I. speaks on his track with Meek Mill and skits on the album. T.I. stated, “I think this is my best work ever because all of my albums have been snapshots of where I was in life as a man, I’m in a better position right then I was then.” I got to hear about the half the album, songs featuring A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, CeeLo, R. Kelly and Andre 3000. I liked what I heard so far, I will definitely check out the full album.
Trouble Man goes on sale December 18th.

Nigel, I’m interested to hear what you have to say about this album after you listen to it all… it hit the net last night and while it is not a terrible album…. it definitely isn’t good and seriously uneven is likely the best way to describe it
He recycles rhymes on the same album and then some lyrics just are plain bad
“Call me papa john’s cause I keep that extra cheese” or “I’m the bomb, Terrorist”
Wildside sounds like a sound that he should’ve made 10 years ago (as do a lot of these songs) The Way We Ride = Top Back or Heavy Chevys maybe even Front, Back
He autotune sings on Cruisin… which is terrible
the skit about Phil getting killed is strange and doesn’t seem like something that should’ve been done. I know rappers have done skits about them getting shot but this just seems weird as does the first verse of Wonderful Life where “Phil” over complements TIs family but in the second verse where “Phil” speaks to his family, he makes it seem like Phil was a failed father
Only to end the album with a DMX moment through a religious song … I’m sure people will say I’m hating but take a listen to the album and I’m interested to hear what you think
Only heard about six songs, so can’t judge until I hear the full album.
I would have to respectfully completely disagree with dude above me. I heard the leak & this is truely the best project he’s made in a while. He’ll still get my $10
Good artists will sometime make a classic album type, that u play start to finish. so good, it becomes there peak work. & through no fault of there own they can’t top it. That’s just where they were in time. R.kelly -TP2.com, Usher-confessions. Maxwell – Now. Alicia keys-the element of freedom. After I jus heard her new album. Jay-Z – vol 2. & blueprint. Kanye West -College Dropout. Eminem – the eminem show. Game – The Documentary. Beyone – I am/ Sasha Fierce. & T.I. Who I’m now realizing had his with “Paper Trail” not that this album won’t b good, but from wat I’ve heard, it’s not his best.
I heard the whole complete album…. This album is WACK!. This album is his worst album ever. His second worst album was 2007 T.I. vs T.I.P. His third worst album was 2001 I’m Serious. Trap Muzik,(2003) Urban Legend (2004), KING (2006), Paper Trail (2008) are his BEST album. Trap Muzik, KING, Paper Trail are CLASSICS from the 2000′s…It’s new decade and NEW ERA in HIP-HOP. T.I. has FELL OFF & his new material is so 2000′s
I heard T.I. new album completely. IT’S WACK! T.I. has FELL OFF! Very disappointing. The album is TRASH! His new material sound outdated…. His new music is stuck in the 2000′s… BUT IT’S 2012…LOL
I think Ball is the only track he could have kept to himself. Lol. Tracks like track.back.jumpin. and go.get.it. and hello really sell an album and fulfill a classic albums criteria.
Also everyone recycles lyrics including hov. Jus not good to recycle whole verses.
