I was in the building last night for Meek Mill’s, “Dreams And Nightmares,” listening session. Guests included Jay-Z, Will Smith, Rick Ross, Wale, Estelle, Victor Cruz and more. The intro entitled, “Dreams And Nightmares,” was one of my favorite tracks. Meek Mill starts of the album sounding aggressive and hungry as you would expect. “Maybach Curtains,” with Nas and John Legend wasn’t as epic as I wanted it to be, you know Nas has been killing guest features lately. The ladies might appreciate, “Lay Up,” with Ross, Wale and Trey Songz. I was a fan of the, Cardiak, produced, “Polo & Shell Tops. The audience also got hype for the bonus track with 2 Chainz which is meant to be a strip club anthem. There wasn’t a record like, “I’m A Boss,” to me. I would need to hear the album in private to really judge of course.

How is MMG a sinking ship? Ross is going Gold, Meek will go gold, Wale is coming out with his album in the winter, Stalley is working on his project. Sounds like all is good in their camp.
But Meek should still leave. I think any artist who isn’t independent is playing themselves in the long run. Labels look out for themselves and will cast you aside without hesitation.

It kind of is with all they hype in real numbers ross only sold 422,000 to date and I don’t see it getting to 500,000, plus meek he really should be bigger than he is, he do need to get out of that deal, but go to somewhere were he can be the head of rap music and be versatile. Wale he didn’t even go gold stuck at 450,000…numbers don’t lie just saying! I like meek though, he just gotta get out MMG though

mmg is on the radio all fucking day non stop they are the radio favorite right now. i might not be a big fan, but i cant deny hearing mmg every where.
and meek missed a great opportunity to take a pic with will smith and jayz at his own album party. he arrived too late and the big dogs left. imagine the kind of promotion a simple pic wit will and hov would do for your album sales. smh
Being on the radio all day and night don’t mean nothing like it did back in the day. It just means your label is consistent with the payola money and push. The only reason they are getting a push is probably because they are on that rape 360 deal we hear so much about these days. MMG is a sinking ship from the point they are at their PEAK now and they are struggling to get to gold. Once their 15 minutes are up they will be done. Meek’s album will be the measuring point if he doesn’t go Gold first week as MMG flagship top artist right now then that’s a failure. Meek is everywhere right now, he got crazy spins and TV time if he can’t get sales with all this promotion he ain’t ever getting sales. Personally as far as Philly rappers go I prefer Larsiny family, Cassidy, Jag, AR AB, and them State Property boys.

Drake doing it, Nicki doing it, plenty of artist outside of hiphop manage to sell gold in their first week. With the huge push behind Meek he should be able to at least do that.
My point exactly^^ some artists gotta pay for there stuff to be on the radio, but if some stuff is hot it will just get automatic play!! Nd word I mean MMG to me is like another version of like slip n slide records, the record label ross used to be on. Kind of like a indie, but still controlled by the boss of warner bros.
