Question guys; why do there have to be authenticity in Rap Music? Why can’t we just enjoy it for the sound of art, and accept it for what it is. Why do we hold Rappers to crazy high standards, it is entertainment, nothing more or less. I don’t feel bad for lying rappers, I feel bad for people who think rappers tell the truth. NONE of them do! We have Ross/Jeezy beefing, we have Gucci/Jeezy beefing, (just to name a few) all for what? There is enough money out there for everybody to have millions. when denzel is acting, he tells us clearly that this is not real, this is just acting, and after the 2hrs movie, i will be living my regular life, with my regular wife, and regular kids. so we know and accept that. if a movie is supposed to be 100% authentic it says “this movie is based on a true story” so if its later found out that the “ture story” movie had lies in it, i would look at that movie differently and it would lose a few points to me.
