Yea Meek is good, but he is not game changing, he can rap and has energy, but something is just missing from him that would put him to be the best thing out since like 50 cent, also he is kind of one dimensional. So I give it to Kendrick Lamar, with sales though I think they both might lose,cause they coming out when Taylor Swift coming out and sales wise thats a big big loss. For Meek it’s gunna be a real debut where it doesn’t make a huge impact and numbers will not be big, but with more albums from him he will probably grow and get better.

100 made the perfect point..Kendrick is by far the best lyricist out of the west and his songs do have so much substance and make you think to the point you be like “damn that’s ill, how he put those words together and make so much sense..wth Meek some of his shit could sound so commercial but let’s face it if you dont have a commercial hit now and days your not gonna make a buzz for yourself, his first single is kinda anoyying with the auto-tune and all that, so lets hope that’s the only song on his album auto-tuned. Kendrick will have the bigger impact because I believe his music comes from a place that people can actually relate to. His music has substance and sounds good. He never compromises his sound and formula. Not saying that people cant relate with Meek but I aint got a rolex and a rolls royce. Meek is talented, great potential but I haven’t heard anything that blows me away. I think once Meek gets past the glits and glamour he thinks he needs to succeed he’ll do well. I will be copping both, i think Meek will have greater initial sales, Kendrick will have lasting effect on the game!! I think people will look back in 5, 10 years on the lasting impact of good kid m.A.A.d city, it has the potential to be viewed in the same category as Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic, Doggystyle, The Chronic & the other albums still revered in Hip Hop History!!
