What’s The Difference Between This And His Mixtapes He’s Rappin About The Same Stuff Nothin Different The Album Is Lackin Content & Substance Kendrick Lamar & Nas Had The Best Albums Out This Year
Why does it have to be a comparison to Kendrick Lamar or anyone else for that matter?… The album stands on its own merit and the only comparison to K.dot album is that they dropped in the same month… Just enjoy good music.
The album is solid… It had a few songs that will be in rotation for a week or two but there isn’t a track on here that will have me listening to it come December. I think he should have taken some songs from the DC Mixtape series (Get dis Money, Realest Shit you ever Seen, A1, etc) and added them to the Deluxe version…
I think it shows growth from the Flamers Mixtape Series to now. If he keeps it up then he could build enough respect in this industry to be a steady fixture of street music to counteract some of the lighter hiphop music. If I was an actual critic I would give it 3.5/5 with the potential to make a 4.5/5 album on his sophomore follow up.
I haven’t heard it yet, going to download it tonight and see if it’s worth paying for.

As someone from Philly I kinda feel let down after listening to the album twice. I’m disappointed, I liked the album, but I think my expectations were too high. I was hoping for something special/different but it seems to be nothing really more then the flamers/dreamchasers mixtapes.

I thought if you like Meek Mill’s music then you have to like this album. Typical Meek and tracks like Traumatized and Tony Story pt 2 were nice and he deserves credit for his singles Burn, Amen, and Young and Getting it.
this should have been dreamchasers 3.. repetitive same generic MMG sound!! its a lazy effort especially if i have to compare it to the masterpiece kendrick put out a week ago this is embarrassing in comparison..

The intro built me up so much that I was hoping the rest of the album would do the same I love meek mill but I don’t really feel it was everything everyone thought of would be! The videos of making dreams and nightmares went harder the the album it did not live up to the hype thought but I will still listen to him.

Weak album!!! Dreamchasers 2 is waaaaaay better than this.It’s got like 3 dope tracks at best worse song for me is Rich and Famous. Meek got potential to be one of the new greats but he’s gon have to get more versatile if he’s gonna last. No hate just giving a critique of the album.
