While DMX has earned several platinum plaques back during his prime he now only manages to sell 17k in his first week of sales. I don’t think the promotion was there and I don’t think people felt he was back. Maybe a new DMX CD with Swizz Beatz being in charge would make an impact. Do you think DMX can make a come back?

I mean in order for people to want to buy your album…first, we need to know that you are dropping an album. Second, maybe you should drop a mixtape to promote the album or at least let people know you still rap. Then, umm you should probably make good music.
I like the album. You can he still got a lot of personal shit goin on. He just gota keep hitn the studio and kill distractions. But X still can bounce back. It’s a new generation different energy then the 90′s now it’s a lot of wannabees

He went in, Have you Eva was one of my fav tracks, I played that shit like 10 times before being able to send it. Grease was the main producer here and X went and took it back had a more 90′s Vibe like some of Nas tracks were on Life is Good. X don’t need to do shit but keep rocking shows, because although he wasn’t doing what everyone else does, he still did his thing. Swizz was also on album production.
I wanted to support but there’s no real way. I listen to music thru Spotify. I’ll support a show because its not like he’s not still amazing. Sales are different than they were, that’s just a reality. blogs should stop even speaking on sales numbers. Its thirst

So I’m not a real fan because I don’t like his music anymore? Or is it that every album he’s done since “It’s Dark and Hell is Hot” has gotten progressively worse? Being a “true fan” is recognizing when a great artist isn’t as great anymore because of the shit he keeps feeding his system with, i.e drugs. U don’t know what albums we’ve bought or not. Did I listen to this last album? No. But it’s because I’m tired of being disappointed by this nigga. That’s the point of a lead single: to get you interested in the rest of the album. If your basically telling me that “I don’t dance” shit was the best he had to offer by making it his first single, and I don’t like it, why should I assume the rest of the album is worth listening to? And if the rest of the songs are better than that, then I feel even worse that his team’s judgement is that horrible to choose that as his lead single. In either case, it doesn’t make me confident about the rest of the album. I’ll listen to it on my own time, but based on previous disappointments, I’m not in any fucking hurry

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
