For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. J.Cole thought that little swipe he took at Diggy was gonna slide under the rug but Diggy went at his head with this one. Diggy has talent, nothing to lose, and everything a gain. That alone should be enough for Cole to just take it on the chin and walk away before he damages his own career.

Diggy dedicated 2 whole songs to someone who mentioned him in two lines this “beef” giving him more buzz than his whole album. And for anyone who say Diggy is n anyway more lyrical or more of an mc than Cole really hasn’t heard and of his shit that isn’t a single
J. Cole better stay far away from this battle for 2 reasons:
1.) He has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Diggy’s lyrically nice enough to hang and young enough to get a pass for a wack line or two. Cole has no margin for error.
2.) Cole will look like a bully, aka a punk, who won’t diss nobody else his age.
3.) Diggy is telling the truth, Cole is lyin. He ain’t doin 100K/show and he ain’t get topped off by Vanessa.
Also he could get black balled for messing with the Simmons family.

On one side of the coin, u gotta respect J. That “run circles around your triangle” line was aight, and I think Diggy has a lot of potential, but he’s not ready for Cole. Think about it…lyrically Kendrick Lamar is probably the best young rapper in the game right now. Meaning he wouldn’t do a co-album or mixtape with another artist (not in his group) that wasn’t somewhere near that level. The fact that him and Cole are doing a joint project should explain how lyrical Cole is.
I wouldn’t put Diggy in the same class as a Bow Wow cuz Bow Wow has never been lyrical. He just sounds like whoever ghost writes for him at the time. Diggy has a couple bars here and there, and it’s promising to see someone his age with some talent…but that’s kind of where it ends for me anyways lol.
