Roscoe Dash took to twitter to vent about not getting credit for some hits. He stated:
Can’t do favors for niggas bcuz no matter how humble and generous u r to ppl niggas will take everything u have … Even niggas u look up to. The most talented ppl get the least credit for everything and the crazy part is they put in the MOST work… Same shyt with @wale lotus flower bomb I wrote that for him b4 he even signed to Ross & it went #1… but nobody would kno that cuz I’m not in the credits. I’m only speaking on this publicly bcuz there are so many ppl who wanna be apart of the industry but dnt Kno half of the shit that goes on. After getting off the phone with @wale I feel like I need to clarify I WROTE THE HOOK for “lotus flowerbomb” not his verses. & as far as @KanyeWest “To The World” if u listen close my adlibs are STILL in the song.

Its his own fault for not covering his bases. He should have has it in writing that he gets his due credit and a little change for his minor contribution. Now that Wale made $5 million and is on the forbes list Roscoe decides to make something off it.
I already know Roscoe’s been writing for people for a while and most songs that he’s on he wrote at least a part of it, it’s apparent. He has enough hits under his belt and people need to stop stealing from others. Too bad you can’t patent in music like tech companies do lol
I think he is getting paid its just that he wants credits. All he writes is hooks and bridges tho.

When you are working with people you think your cool with you figure they will do right by you. When it comes down to it though you will get fucked over if given the chance, I hope he at least learned that.
