“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate,” Mona Scott-Young, longtime manager for Missy Elliott, said in a statement sent to XXLMag.com. “We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

I think it is a bad idea to have a posthumous with out at least Timbaland involved. I wasn’t to big on, “Enough Said,” featuring Drake.

They should scrap the album. Period. The music she has made will continue to be played. Drake or whoever should leave this alone. I still play “are u that somebody” & other joints the they made together.

like I said before, the fans would’ve let the Timb and Missy shit slide if he would’ve gotten approval from her family (who would’ve pulled Timb and Missy in anyway) but that’s where Drake fucked up. He thought his celebrity would be large enough to plan it out and they would jump on board. So he’s either going to pay everyone else a whole lotta money to save face and make the album or he’s going to get with the record company anyway & get the album done w/o the family/friends approval.
Drake is in a catch 22 here. He either gonna put out the album without going through proper channels or the album will never see the light of day. I think its the former.
