I know he feels bad because dude actually tries to help, he’s actually still there… not hanging around but trying to help.. half of these rapper guys wouldn’t be able to tell you “Oh, now we got a CVS but that’s about all that has changed” and like he said its gotta hurt when you do so much and still feel helpless and hopeless about the situation
I’m sure other rappers feel the same way about their own hood and would love to speak about what’s really going on in the environment they grew up in, but can’t because for (1) The powers that be who control The Music Industry refuse to have another “type 2pac” again. They learned from their mistakes, and or (2) If they(rappers) got mouths to feed, their going to rap about whatever they are told to rap about in order to take care of their family. That’s just the way the game of life is played.

Man I know how he feels. I’m a Chicago native and it’s crazy out here. People are out here trying to help and make change but its so much going on its crazy. People just dying left and right and Lupe is here day in a day out trying to help and nothing gets resolved.
