When I saw the # that Frank Ocean is suppose to hit next week, I got extremely Happy,I said I need to get in my car and and listen to this album,by the time I got to “Sweet Life” I was even more happy,finally!! a RnB album that’s hip,with out having the same 5 rappers on every song,I actually hope he hits 200k,for the sake of RnB,it’s in the worst position it’s ever been since I started making music,The Record company’s don’t believe in it,Radio won’t play it if it don’t have a rapper,and a majority of the artist that are labeled RnB,are confused and lost,so I repeat,I hope Ocean sells more than the 125k that he’s on pace for,maybe these executives u’llwake the fuck up,or at least try to copy what he’s doing,like they always do, by the way,the end of “Pyramids”jammin like a mufucka.

channel ORANGE is incredible, one of the best albums to come out in a while.
I’ll admit, I listen to Forrest Gump and imagine he’s singing from a female’s perspective lol.

big frank ocean fan, but it is terribly overrated its sad that everything that comes out that is “weird” is considered a “classic” this album is cool, but there is no way in hell this is even coming close to his mixtape that got him off the shelf……. the being gay thing was a cool pub stunt, but a risk I wouldnt have taken for a project that he says “boy” on two songs. The melodies and everything are cool, but what makes this so hot that we gotta talk about it all day everyday? Pink matter is a MEDIOCRE R&B record and people are speaking like its the reincarnation of deangelo or something. You guys do remember confessions by usher right? thats R&B. I like frank ocean but he is basically drake if drake would finally come out the closet.
The album was extremely good & I’m hoping the sales are great too. His flow is crazy good on every song. His flow is soooo far from Drakes, Channel Orange is a true R&B album. Drake should takes notes, no bullshit.

But if Drake sounded like Frank Ocean, then you would still hate him for riding his nuts. Frank didn’t come out. He had feelings for his best friend. He’s an emotional dude, it’s all over his music and in his lyrics, that’s why people like it. He puts his heart into it. Drake’s first tracks were like that too, but now he wants to spit. Frank spits a clever verse on ‘Oldie’ (OF Tape Vol. 2) where he comments on his sexuality and only at this moment it will seem extremely clever. Frank is very creative and fame is going to effect him as it does every artist. The evolution of Odd Future as a collective is sevenfold what it was when OF Tape Vol. 1 came out. If you don’t like an artist you are entitled to your own opinion, but why waste your time if you don’t care? Hate in general.. dumb.

I’ve always been a fan of American Idol but the problem with most of these shows is that contestants have to wait one whole season to win, and also new applicants must wait a full year before they can appear on the show.
There’s actually a new concept around called The Studio – where 3 artists are invited to a studio in downtown Los Angeles and they have 72 hours to make a hit with the show’s producers. The Studio covers all expenses and provides the artist with professional photos, songwriting, instrumentalists, quality production, camaraderie, and the winning artist chosen by the fans gets a music video. It is pretty much everything an aspiring artist needs to kickstart his/her career.
Each episode of The Studio is divided into 3 parts, released over 3 Sundays. Part 1 came out last week [youtu.be] & Part 2 comes out today.
