ok?
shows you how mis-informed your average to elite rappers are…..bet a lot of brothers got locked up under this….
dont blame jayz cuz other niggas didnt read up on their own rights. i mean shit he starts off the bar by saying ” I KNOW MY RIGHTS” so if anyone wants to follow his lead, then start by learning your rights
Any idiot that took that song literal is just that. It is a song.
clearly he hasn’t seen the video he pulls over jay for no reason so there is no probable cause so jay is right in what he’s saying he has no right to search his car. why is everyone trying to get fame of of this line you got politicians using it and now another lawyer jeez guys move on..
I agree with mouse26. First off why are we talking about a line from a Jay song that was 9 years ago???? But the professor is not looking at the bigger picture. Earlier in the verse Jay stats, “you was doing 55 in a 54 (cop voice).” Jay is implying that the cop stopped him for no reason, which was not “probable cause” so Jay wasn’t wrong. And if people didn’t catch that then Jay gave you the visual with the video!!!!!
Clearly y’all didn’t click the link and read the whole article just skimmed through the post. He talks about the video and probable cause and racial profiling by Jersey police at the time. He also talked about why pulling over was a better choice than running because then your car would be subject to a full search and fighting the case in court would be easier if you didnt run.
Go read the whole thing
