Back when Nas and Jay-Z were in the middle of their beef, Nas planned to lynch a fake Jay-Z during his scheduled Summer Jam performance. Hot 97 didn’t allow for this to take place so Nas didn’t perform. Did Hot 97 make the right call? Hot 97 did allow Jay-Z to put up pictures of Prodigy dancing when he was a little kid.

They should have let it happen. If Jay had thought up something like that Hot 97 would have neen ok with it. But when Jay’s rep is on the line they disallow it and disavow all knowledge.
