The San Antonio Spurs guard — injured in the Chris Brown-Drake melee at a SoHo nightclub — filed a $20 million lawsuit against its owners today, saying they should have known better than to let the Rihanna love rivals in at the same time. In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Parker holds W.i.P.’s owners responsible for the “corneal laceration of the left eye and other injuries” he suffered in the bottle-throwing brawl at the now-shuttered Vandam Street club.
Jaroslawicz said it’s the club’s fault. By selling both camps booze and giving them bottle service, “you’re throwing gasoline on the flames,” Jaroslawicz said.

No the club is not responsible….not for $20 million. As an NBA veteran who’s been around the block….Tony Parker should take some personal responsibility. We all know there aint nothing good that happens after 2-3 in the morning, but he was partying and drinking it up like everybody else. Plus, if he thinks the club should have known better than to let Drake and CB in the club at the same time….then his dumb ass should have known not to be around Drake and CB at the same time.

I think lack of security will be the legal issue staed in the law suit. I dont think the documents his lawyers give will say “You know rhiannas boos be trippin” but I can be wrong. It’s easy to say they are not responsible but trust TP will not be the last to sue. 20 mill might seem silly if he worked at KFC but I am sure if he lost his eye that would of ended a career where he will make more than that. That club is done and will have to settle will multiple ppl they will eventually sue Drake or Chris Brown I’m sure.

Y’all know how much money Tony Parker made this year? $12.5 million. You know how much he’s scheduled to earn from the Spurs next season? $12.5million. And that doesn’t count endorsements. Tony balls for more money per year than 90% of these rappers will see in their career.
And some fool cracks him with a bottle causing injury to an extent that he’s gonna miss the Olympics?!
Lookit: If you work at McD’s and you get hurt in a club you can’t sue for $1million in lost wages. But you best believe the guy who is a franchise NBA player in his prime who could miss the 2012 Olympics over this injury and conceivably part of the NBA season simply because someone he doesn’t know got wreckless?

Will he get $20million out of this? No. The club isn’t worth that much and doesn’t have that kind of insurance. But Parker’s pissed as any of us would be in this situation. He’s suing to make a point.

the club provided the weapons and did little to stop th e situation once it started. they will have to pay $$$ for this., but the club can easily sure drake/chris brown / anyone who throw a bottle
yea this is smart. u gotta cover your ass and protect your investments. his investments is himself being an athlete so his eye may seem like it will heal fully before next season but in the event that it doesnt, he should sue. and after the club loses the club should sue drake since all reports say chris bought him a bottle and sent it over, and he got emotional and threw it allegedly he would be on the hook if they can prove that.
