the song is not used for its lyrics but just because its a hot hip hop song here in Paris and because they openly talking to the young urban demographics.
Almost no candidate if any even bothered to address this demographics during the whole campaign.
The vast majority of hip hop listeners in France dont understand english lyrics in a rap song anyway.

The first part of the election happenned today and François Hollande won the first tour with 29%.
First this video has been done by an association of young people from the project (Yes Yondaime there ere projects in France) who wanted to support the candidate which represent minorities (black, arab people). So François Hollande has nothing to do with it.
