HAHAHAHA
Hope this is a warning to all these fake rappers out there, too many people be walking around trying to act like they a thug & rap about how “real” they are on every song, but when they get locked down they don’t stand by their persona & instead act like some shook ass fake thugs. If you gonna rap about it, be about it.

@killa if arnold Schwarzenegger acted in his movies, then went out of his way to tell his fans that he isnt acting that he actually lived that life and killed that many ppl, and bragged about it every fucking chance he got, in addition to braggin he pointed out sly stallone and said he dont really be killing nobody but i do, its all real life, real facts on film. whenever he finally ends up in jail for a crime he was caught committing, the prosecution will absolutely bring that up in trial. stop wit that argument its juvenile, if a movie is real, it says based on a true story. if i rapped i would be quick to tell everybody in interviews that i never killed a man, i never sold a drug, hell i never did a drug. u could believe whatever the fuck u want. so when i go to court i can fall back on that

Real vs. Fake
@ Country of Kings
So should all rappers that have violent lyrics be arrested? Should every thing a rapper says be taken at face value? Under your argument the answer to those questions are yes. If a rapper says it, then it must be true…Right?

NAW STUPID BITCH
He wasn’t arrested for rapping, he was arrested in connection to some murders, so yea if your whole persona is to be some “thug” or “killa”, then yea it should be used against you. He even went out his way to act like that in interviews & shit not just when he was rapping, it’s just like if some pedophile always talks about fucking lil kids, then shouldn’t that be used in his molestation case?

Real vs. Fake
He wasn’t arrested for rapping, but if the argument is that rap lyrics and persona’s should be taken seriously, then you have to start arresting rappers simply based off of what they say. You either take what they say seriously or you don’t. You can’t have it both ways. Rick Ross pretends to be a big time drug dealer. Under your logic he should be arrested right now because he just admitted to being a criminal.
Also, your pedophile analogy is asinine because there is no motivation for somebody to claim they fuck kids. On the other hand, we all know that rappers lie in their records to make money. This isn’t a secret. That’s why this whole notion of using rap lyrics against somebody is stupid.

IGNORANT PEOPLE SHOULD SHUT UP
ONCE AGAIN HE WASN’T ARRESTED FOR RAPPING, HE WAS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO SOME MURDERS! There just using his persona as evidence NOT as a criminal charge against him.

Real vs. Fake
I get that. But what you don’t get is that using rap lyrics as evidence means that the law is going to take a rappers lyrics at face value. Under the train of logic that states “if he rapped it, it must be true”; you would need to start arresting rappers for their lyrics because the law says that its an accurate reflection of what that person really does/did. This is setting a bad precedent. It is a slippery slope.

@SoulOfDaReal
Boosie is the only one who’s acting soft, instead of standing by his music like a true “killa” that he always use to claim he was, now instead he saying everything he rapped about were made up stories & lies. So who is the true fake nigga? Boosie.

Hmmm…he might beat this. Seems a little desperate by the prosecution. If you have real evidence, witnesses, opportunity and motive, you don’t need no rap lyrics to support your case. Unless he named names in his raps, you ain’t got no where to go with that one.
05.01.12 at 10:43 pm
@the truth
Peak of his career..? He’s already been in their 2.5 years, plus he was sentenced to 8 years for drug charges, so even if he do beat the murder case he’s still not going to be out until he’s almost 40yrs old.

How can one’s creative mind be used against them? Everyday a new rapper or writer of any kind creates his or her self threw what sales in rap its drugs money and murder in movies well its the same. my point is if they r indicting Boosie for his creativity and means of supporting his family because of a character he’s created well then whom would b next because all rap is pretty much the same. If they use his lyrics in court well then just play a 50 cent song because its all the same. Lil Boosie should not b convicted by his talent.
