No one is saying Wale is not deserving, but you cannot legitimately make an argument for him and exclude Cole from the list. Their accomplishments are similar, but Cole’s album sold more and he has a grammy nom under his belt, an argument Wale can’t make.

If that is the your main criteria, then Meek had a bigger buzz, Big Sean had a bigger buzz. What good is your buzz when it not accompanied with album sales. I’ll admit that Cole radio buzz is not as big, but he sold solely based on critical acclaim. That is unheard of in this download era. Biggest debut since Nikki without a major radio hit. C’mon Son.
