There is no person in the Federal or State system that can say or saying that “T.I. Clifford Harris” snitched on them. I’m tired of people spraying his name when his plea deal and sentencing transcripts is “ONLINE.” You pay $40 to get on “Pacer” and you have access to all court documents on any person in the “UNITED STATES.”

All I know is that T.I was facing 30 years fed time for having the U.S. armory in his house and he had a bunch of priors. Despite all that he got a year and a day. Meanwhile people like Martha Stewart and Mike Vick did their max time for the feds and had more money and better lawyers. How does community service shave 29 years off of a sentence?

Telling the truth, and bringing to the authorities key information in the event of a crime is considered to be snitching? In this case, not snitching only hurts the people and the communities in which crimes are continuously committed.
IDK if T.I. snitched or not… I just know everybody using the example of Dante Stallworth is very wrong. A vehicle manslaughter in no way in no state carries the same punishment as someone with PRIORS having bought automatic machine guns and accesories from a undercover officer. In court (usually) they add the charge of “with intent to kill”. A manslaughter is completely different… especially in Stallworths case because it was INVOLUNTARY manslaughter.
i think alcohol was involved with stallworth so it shouldnt be involuntary. it should me vehicular homicide. i dont know what the actual charge was tho.
and tip took the stand in the murder of his friend, he couldnt finger anybody cuz he didnt see the shooter. he had to testify what took place that night. thats not snitching he aint point no finger he aint say no names he has no idea who pulled the trigger that killed his man.

Martha Stewart didnt do all her time! She did like three months and the rest of the time she was on house arrest in the same house that she tapes her show in! She was makin millions she didnt need to go anywhere! Thats part of the reason lil kim didnt get alot of time. The judge didnt think it would be a good example to lock kim up the entire time for lyin when martha stewart did the same shit!

All state laws are different. Even though he has priors the common law make up laws as they go so at that particular time the jury and judge can make any decision. Now in NYC. U going under the jail and 12 people including judge gonna say the same thing. Guilty

Zellars, who records for T.I.’s Grand Hustle Entertainment, is a hulking 6′ 4′, calls himself “The Grand Hustle Muscle,” and proclaims, “I’m a real hood.” What he does not mention, though, is his prior work as a Drug Enforcement Administration informant who snitched out criminal cohorts and testified as a government witness at the trial of an Atlanta heroin trafficker.
Court records show that Zellars began working with law enforcement officials after he was sentenced in September 1995 to 110 months in a federal gun case (Zellars, who had a prior felony robbery conviction, was collared for selling weapons to an undercover federal agent). Zellars “agreed to cooperate with authorities and was debriefed” about the criminal activity of several individuals.
“In particular he was debriefed concerning the drug trafficking activities of a Mr. Ali Baaqar,” according to a government court filing, a copy of which you’ll find here. During his cooperation against Baaqar, Zellars met with a DEA agent and a federal prosecutor, and subsequently testified at trial. “Ali Baaqar was convicted of conspiracy to distribute heroin based upon the trial testimony of [Zellars] and others.”
In return for his snitching, Zellars had 18 months shaved off his prison term when he was resentenced in July 1997 by Judge J. Owen Forrester. A court order signed by Forrester came after federal prosecutors petitioned the jurist to reduce Zellars’s sentence in light of his “substantial assistance to the Government.”
The disclosure of Zellars’s informant past will likely not sit well with rap fans and performers alike, many of whom promote hip-hop’s “Stop Snitching” doctrine. Additionally, since T.I. He got that time because the case was jacked by the police the day they busted T.I.P, First of all they couldn’t mention the guns in the trail due to busting T.I.P before he even got the guns in his possesion. The only Guns they could mention was the guns that are at his house. Due to Sean Taylor recently being robbed and killed and due to the shooting death of T.I.P friend, defense attorney was using that as there defense of T.I.P having posession of firearm in his property. T.I.P didn’t have to snitch he wouldn’t gotten that much time. He did all the community services to see if the judge would go light on him, but would have probably gotten the same time without community service and if he was a regular person wouldn’t have gotten time would have probably gotten probabtion. I have a cousin that got knocked by the cops with possesion of fire arms in which he had the owner of the guns to say they left them there at the house due to hearing someone was going to break into there home, and due to alot of break ins in the are of that person home they gave my cousin Intensive Probabtion for 8 mos, and Probabtion for 3 years in total and that was his third offense. But when the officers didn’t let the gun deal go through and be in the posession of T.I. due to they was so happy they had a High Profile Case they threw the case away. But if they would have let the deal go through and the guns would have been in T.I. possesion then T.I. would be doing 15-30 years easy today.
