Seems like the early favorite rap line for 2012 goes to Drake for his line about Kobe on, “Stay Schemin.” You can not go five minutes on twitter with out someone tweeting, “b!tch you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym.” With that said do you agree with what the line is saying? Does Vanessa Bryant deserve half of Kobe’s fortune? No she wasn’t running practice drills with Kobe, but some would argue she was busy raising his children (with the help of nannies). Also she did stick with him after he was accused of rape from a hotel worker. I feel like she is deserving, Kobe Bryant knew what he was getting into when he didn’t make her sign a pre-nup. I agree she don’t deserve half of his worth for doing what she is supposed to do. She took care of the kids that’s her responsibility, if she didn’t want to she shouldn’t have had children. ‘After all it’s a woman’s right to abort the baby whenever she pleases right? First off, Kobe should have got a prenup. No excuse for anybody making over six figures to not get a prenup. Its easy: No prenup, no marriage.
Secondly, Drake is absolutely right. Kobe worked his ass off to perfect his craft and earned every penny of that money by himself. I didn’t see Vanessa in the gym. Her ass was sitting court side enjoying the ride. She’s never had a job in her life. She was at home taking care of the kids but since when does that warrant getting half of a fortune you didn’t earn? Maybe you can get 10% but half is way too much considering Kobe is paying for everything (clothes, private school bill, food, bills, nannies, etc.). And what’s fucked up is she’s gonna demand child support on top of that, and probably some alimony. Women ain’t shit but we have no choice but to love them.

She is the bread winner and they had no Prenup so he will get 22.5 million which is half.

The divorce laws are archaic and need to be upgraded. When they were put into effect back then women stayed home in the household. She basically gave her all to her husband by cooking, cleaning, raising the children, showing reverence, and waiting on her man hand and foot. The world has changed, and women are now viewed as the equals to men. But we are still rewarding them for getting married when they no longer perform the same services. In my opinion until the laws are updated men should avoid marriage all together. It’s just not worth the gamble of a minimum half your net worth should things go south. I know the women and whipped men won’t agree with me but I’m just telling it like it is.

As rich parents, no one knows what Vanessa did for a living and some would wager she just stayed on her ass enjoying his money. As rich parents, the money was made before she got there. Kobe’s parents were rich. Kobe got his contract and riches before she got there. His parents didn’t even support them getting married and that was his fault in doing it and also for not signing a prenup. But she didn’t deserve half for ish. period.
