During the next presidential election they should sell Jordan’s in the voting booth. It is crazy to see how far people will go just for some sneakers that a lot of other people will have on. The Jordan cult following is still as strong as it was in the 90′s even with the economy being horrible and the prices of sneakers going up. How many of you were camped out for these sneakers?

That is extremely sad to see. The whole Jordan Company is probably just laughing like seeing these people act like animals paying probably more than what it takes to actually make the sneaker lol. Think about it why fiend for these shoes so much when celebs don’t pay a dime to endorse these brands because they get them free, but people are handing in their paychecks to endorse them.
I’m 99.9% sure that 99.9% of these people would NEVER stand in line to vote and that’s FREE! How do you stand on line just to give someone $200 for shoes that cost $10 to make? Priorities are screwy.
This made me ashamed to be black for a second. You don’t see people lining up for job opportunities or to vote but they ready to risk life and limb over some sneakers. In other countries people stand in line for some bread and water, and yet people are losing their common sense over a shoe. It’s funny because stores only had limited pairs on hand, and after the employees stash a pair for themselves and their friends that’s almost half right there. Jordan Brand needs to cut this crap out and just make enough to meet market demands (but we know that won’t happen) or someone is gonna end up losing their life for some kicks. The sad thing is that it’s gonna keep happening when the Yeezy 2′s come out and the XI Columbia’s come out next year.
You’ll never catch me waiting in line over something as simple as a sneaker (especially when it turns into a life or death situation). People need to get their priorities in order and realize whats important in life, but I guess these coons have to “be cool”.

STOP SAYING PEOPLE DON’T VOTE. Just three years ago, people were lined up around the block in my hood to vote for Obama. And it was the same in hoods around the country. People vote when they think it will make a difference. People stand in line for shoes or iPads because they think they’re fly. Stop trying to make it out to be like you’re smarter than someone just because you don’t attach the same importance they do to fashion. If you’re “ashamed to be black” because of this, you were never proud to be black in the first place.
Of course I’m not proud to be black with incidents like this. You’re here saying attributing importance to fashion like it going into this height is rational. Someone was killed. People were injured. Others were robbed. So if me being ashamed of such ignorant acts make me “not proud to be black in the first place” then so be it.

Jordan don’t give a fuck anymore no one likes the new shit they come out with so why spend money designing new Jordans when you can just re-release retros at a high price. They are smart. They aren’t much spending money but they are making more money.
