The craziest part about the Shady cypher is that if they would of done this 10-15yrs ago it just would of been another great group doing their thing. But it’s laughable how more talented those five men are compared to everyone else. I mean seriously there’s only a handful of rappers that can even be mention in the same lyrical lane as them. Further more, this generation just kills me, all these artist who are suppose to be hot like Wiz, Mac Miller, Tyler etc… aren’t fucking with any of Shady 2.0. First I must say I like BET’s decision to have more cyphers with longer verses, however 90% of those verses were awful. No one brought their A-Game that day!!! The only people I was feeling was K.R.I.T., Kendrick, B.O.B, Skillz,Busta, and of course Shady & his crew. It’s sad when Chris Brown killed it better then most of these rappers. But as far as Shady 2.0 goes I mean what can u say. To debate who had the best verse is comparing apples to oranges, it’s all a matter of preference and taste. All five of them are talented in different ways. Yelawolf is super lyrical with an aggressive delivery, defiantly the best white lyricist since Em. Joe (who I think had the most clever verse) show’s his punchline skills, he’s the best at taking “popular, contemporary topics and putting them in his rhymes (ie the lockout/David Stern line as well as that Amy Winehouse, & Watch the Throne jab.) Joell has a crazy delivery (and had the best ending line in the Eddie Murphy shot. Crooked I is such a great lyricist and delivery, also his cadence is out this world, Rocye to me had the funniest verse especially with the whole “hi/bye” Rihanna. And finally Eminem I mean talk about saving the best for last!!!!! He is what yello, and slaughterhouse are all wrapped in one!!!!!
