i see what Reid is trying to say…. and on some levels i agree with him … Kanye makes EXCELLENT music for our generation (im 28) … Someone who is 18 doesnt understand him (if they say they do…they dont… i was 18 once and you dont know shit about shit when your 18…) and someone who’s 48 just doesnt get what he’s sooo good at (a 48 y/o person will look… listen and be like where’s the instruments …this is crap..)

with that being said there is TONES of AMAZZZZING MUSIC out there today….but at this point in my life im not necessarily checking for it in hip hop….I have a cuz that was soooooo into dj quick and all that … we spoke about how we would smoke pot and listen to this shit forever….and the true is now we smoke hash with a nice glass of Liano and listen to progressive/experimental elctro (or chill wave) and get excited about how amazing and strong that moevement is ….and how we can no longer listen to black ppl call themselves N WORD and call women BITCHES ….dont these guys have daugthers ????
