Chris Brown has also been doing it since he was 15, just like Usher. He has had some ups and downs and his career but none of that matters. A loyal fanbase has forgiven him, and obviously Kelly sees a bright future for him. Agreed that Usher is the King of R&B but he is starting to fall off. Here I Stand was horrible, and Raymond Vs. Raymond was decent, but it will never be Confessions. Chris brown has had 3 out of 4 GREAT albums along with 3 mixtapes. What’s that called? The ability to be versatile. Trey Songz as well.

Usher…did a lot of things before chris but chris by far dances better than usher…usher’s dancing only looked amazing because he probably the best at his time but whatever usher can do chris can do and probably better..and just because you have a good vocal range doesn’t make a difference….chris can produce a hit easily…and most of his music has substance!! as well…* If you have chris on your hook…instant radio play !!!
Who the fuck is R Kelly to be giving out crowns??? His got took a long time ago. Usher been the King of R&B since 2004 with that Confessions album. Until Chris Brown can come out with classic album like THAT (instead of all that pop shit) he will only be but a prince….just like Trey Songz (who can only manage to come out with 1 or 2 good songs per album).
@Focus….it aint about dancing, its about quality singing and making great songs. By your logic, Ciara is better than Aaliyah because she could dance better….but we all know Ciara can’t hold a candle to Aaliyah.

R. Kelly has lost his damn mind! By far, Chris Brown is the best. Trey Songz is just as good as Chris Brown but a little better. Ne-Yo is already known as one the best song writers and the best talented/best R&B artist in the game!!! I like Omarion, coulda be the best now, but he went through record label trouble, he shouldn’t gone to Young Money in the first if he knew he gonna get release by Weezy. I hope he find the right record label so that he O can get support. As of now, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, and Chris Brown all three in the same class, different style.

Alot of people like CB because he can dance and not because of his music……… Me and Chris became friends at 12 or 13 years old, I havent seen him since he got famous but I am a fan of his music ( not because I was cool with him ) but I dont think he got Trey. I do think when Trey is done with the game Chris will take his spot, but Trey been the KING of this shit since the Anticipation mixtape……. and he is the first person in the R&B game to do a mixtape. As said earlier by most p’ple, Kellz z by far d most respectable “King” of RnB. Buh i’d disagree with him crowning Chris Brown(assumably). Chris z only get’n d acknowledgement jez b’cos of d gud number of Hit tracks he had done ( most of whc r nt PURE RnB, sum r nt even written by him) n’ his acrobatic dance routines. He jez very versatile; he cud blend with difrnt genres buh dat shudn’t b mistaken 4 being compared 2 d likes of Trey, Ne-Yo or even Usher(Usher z obviously b’comin a Pop Act). Trey Songz vocal ability z enof 4 him 2 withstand d comparison btw he n’ Chris. Songz can go on a hiher pitch 4 a some seconds than Chris who z jez being assisted with auto-tune( most times). Trey cud emote, far beta in d Game of Pure RnB dan Breezy. P’ple don’t even remember my man Ginuwine anymore!
Maybe you all could agree on qualities that a rnb king should have before crowning anybody….even of Usher has some horrible albums but i can feel he does it for and from his heart and he enjoys what he does, another one i see on that is Frank Ocean, he is not just talented but also blessed with a unique passion. Neyo could be a genius but the songs he does for other do better than those he keeps for himself, i can say Trey is the next usher and Brown is good but i am not sure if good enough to be crowned. he needs some more time to prove that
