Drake released some new music this morning and stated, “Take Care,” drops October 24th with the first single coming in July. On, “Marvin’s Room,” Drake plays the home wrecker, telling a female she can do better.

i haven’t ever liked drake a whole lot but this shit lately is some pretty real music. between that wildfire remix, dreams money can buy, and this. boi has an eclectic selection of production that is just over your head plain and simple.
Much the way a fine wine, or a quality pilsner beer, doesn’t taste good to someone who’s tastebuds aren’t sophisticated, this is usually due to close mindedness and lack of exposure to variety in general.

Here is my thing with Drake. I enjoy his music because the verses are real conversations. It’s the same reason I am so connected to Biggie and Jay-Z, I always felt like they were just having a conversation in their music. They didn’t have to yell they just spoke to you. I love it!

Drake is that nigga, plain & simple, u can’t deny dude’s talent. I’m sure he’s aware he isn’t the greatest singer around, but he commands the melody, kinda like The-Dream. So Far Gone did get like mixtape of the decade if I’m not mistaken, so obviously this sound that he 40 have created is somethin amazing, that’s just real shit.

Legit… this is good stuff. It speaks volumes. He’s a great rapper, but its more than money cars and hoes. Hes an artist, people need to understand artists paint different pictures, love it or hate it.

I’ll admit, sometimes I’ve gotten a little bit frustrated (for lack of a better term) with Drake doing softer songs, because he just has such a unique way of going hard on songs with hard beats, when he straight raps and just goes off, a way/a sound that is just so different from anyone else, and I love to hear that. But listening to this song has really given me an appreciation for his sing-song type of material. This is just real shit, to put it bluntly. There’s just so much emotion here, but he manages to take it all and condense it, put it out there in such a soft, controlled manner… It’s something that I consider to beautiful, when it comes to music, and especially hip-hop/r&b, because there are so many songs in the genre(s) that just flow along with everything else, that have a similar feel, a similar message, a similar style and don’t really separate themselves from anything else.
But Drake has a way of making his own sound, his own style, and separating himself from anyone and everyone else. I consider him to be a fantastic lyricist and he’s one of my favorite artists, all-around. I’ll admit, I’m more of a hardcore fanboy, like I listen to a lot of Ghost Inside, Emmure, Parkway Drive and so on… But there’s something about Drake that is just irresistible to me. He’s a wonderful artist and there aren’t many who can compare, in my opinion. I’m a diehard Eminem fan when it comes down to it, but Drake is a guy I really dig because he’s managed to separate himself from the pack during a time where there is just so much in the genre surrounding him that sounds much too similar. I can’t wait ’til Take Care drops, because I have a feeling, based on this track and the one that got released last month, that he’s really going to defy the expectations put on him for this one.
I LOVE DRAKE!!! I swear his music is therapeutic. Say what yall want but Drake makes real music.

This is the realist rapper you’ll ever hear. His voice is so special. Has so much emotion I feel like its coming from how he truly feels. In the world today we need more people to be real like this.. Plus he’s got close ties to Wayne so he’s learning from best.
