His Magic Stick Condoms failed, G unit sneakers flopped & didn’t do anywhere near as good as the s. Carters, g unit clothing went out of business & was nowhere near as successful as rocawear or Sean john, his artists’ albums are flopping, none of his movies have been very lucrative unlike T.I.’s films, his last video game was a huge flop, Pontiac went out of business as soon as he started endorsing them, his reality show was canceled after a couple of episodes unlike puff daddy’s shows, I could keep going but u get the point. I mentioned vitamin water in my initial post. Perhaps you overlooked it. my point isn’t that 50 is the only one that has failures. My point is that outside of vitamin water it is extremely hard to name a successful business venture he has partaken in. all the things you mentioned are his future plans that may or may not work out. For example, you said he got 200 million to fund 10 movies, which is correct, but you forgot to mention that his movies haven’t been lucrative. His most successful film barley broke even. Just cause he plans on doing it doesn’t mean that it’ll go well. Im sure he planned for his magic stick condoms & reality show to do well, but we see how that worked out. You are also correct when you said jay & puff have had business failures. We can easily name some of their failures but we can also easily name many of their successes. As far as jay’s Rebook deal, i read that his sneaker was the fastest selling sneaker in Rebook history & he opened the door for non athletes to have shoes like Birdman, 50 cent, Kanye..etc. Im not sure how that counts as a failure. Feel free to enlighten me. Like I said before, this deal will not make or break 50 cent. He will be okay even if it fails but i’m looking at it from a competitive stand point. You can’t feel good knowing that you were competing with puff daddy and now Gucci Mane is making as much as you from a jail cell & Lil Wayne is making 2 times more than you from jail. Truth be told, i’d love to make 8 million dollars per year but if i used to make 80 million per year that would be a blow to my pride. Acting like 50 has as many business successes as Puff daddy & jay-z is misleading…
