11.14.10Jay-Z had a secret event last night and came out to announce Jay Electronica is officially signed to Roc Nation. Jay Electronica went on to perform and did a new track that is in the video above. What are your thoughts on Jay Electronica joining Roc Nation and Roc Nation overall now after their latest acquisition.

Well, the way I see it. 35 years old or not, if he drop more tracks like he did last year, at the age of 34 – such as songs like “Exhibit C” (produced by Just Blaze) or even that song “Exhibit A” …
then he’ll be more than okay. At the end of the day those two joint aren’t too bad, saying both record were created by someone, this late in the rap game (an Ol head).

After reading alot of these comments, I see that many of you are worried about everything from hip hop artists EXCEPT their music. Electronica is a dope MC. PERIOD. He does a decent live show. Age, who cares? Bein #$ is still not a given for Black men. Being able to get signed by RocNation isnt something that can be done by just rolling out of bed. Will he go platinum? Who’s to say but that shouldnt be the sole measure of his success.
