Nigel D.: What was your first reaction when you first saw her(Lady Gaga)?
Akon: My first reaction when I first saw her was the same reaction everyone else had, WTF? In my mind I was like Yo, that’ s a star. We just have to figure out how the hell to present this chick to the world, once we get over that hump we’re 100. There’s only two things that can happen to her, she’s either going to blow up way big or flop extremely hard. I was willing to take that chance.

I wholeheartedly agree with “Hi Hater”. In this present economy and present landscape with artists barely selling 300k thats a fucking gold mine. And i’m not just talkin about now, think about the future for these two. Not only is lady gaga selling like hot cakes which allows akon to invest in pretty much anything he wants, the amount of talent akon can look for in the future will be widespread. Because of the money that gaga has brought in which will make, up & coming acts want to sign to his label to either work with her, or just be under the same umbrella as her. Genius, genius work.
He becomes hustler of the decade for making that move. tennyfly, you are 100% correct. Every time you see him, he gonna have a smile from ear to ear. (something like :48) XD Brick City’s own. We couldn’t be any more proud of this nigga. Kids made fun of him in high school…hahaha!..look at him now.. don’t even got to work at all on his music. He has a DIAMOND mine in his backyard.
