Last weekend I took a trip to Toronto to witness Drake’s 1st annual OVO fest. I previously posted clips of Jay-Z & Eminem’s surprise performances but here is video of the whole show to get an understanding of what kind of an event this was. Drake managed to get Jay-Z, Eminem, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Bun B & Kardinal Offishall to hit the stage. The crowd was diverse and enthusiastic to see their hometown hero come back and deliver a historic show.
Drake also mentions he is part of the new cycle of Hip Hop and names Kid Cudi, J. Cole, Wale, Wiz Khalfia & Nicki Minaj as other artist part of the new cycle.

the people hating to need to look up the word “historic”, a show this big has NEVER been booked in Canada before, so it was more than historic if you live in Toronto. Actually to be honest not many cities have had Jay-Z and Eminem perform in the same concert.

I wonder how did Ross and Em get along backstage. Ross took that jab a while back plus all the 50 beef. Anyway show was definitely historic. Remember its a concert not a tour. It was well over a Billion dollars that touch that stage and mic.
